Get Posters Of Your Book (Front & Back Cover)

INTRODUCTION & WHAT TO DO

POSTERS are used to help promote your book while you’re at a table, book signing, book launch party or other event where you’d like to showcase your book with a poster.

ORDER QUANTITY: When ordering posters for the first time:

#1 → GET 2 POSTERS of the FRONT BOOK COVER

... because you’ll want to use one poster by your table and another front poster (optionally) by the door (or somewhere away from my table) of the event where you’re at to show people your book signing is taking place. GET 1 POSTER of the BACK BOOK COVER. If you want more than one poster of the back cover, go for it.

#2 → GET 1 POSTER of the BACK BOOK COVER

If you want more than one poster of the back cover, go for it, but you need a minimum of one.

POSTER SIZE: 2’ x 3’ is the standard and roughly $15-$30 per square foot. ASK FOR SPECIALS. On some days, your local print shop might print 2-FOR-1 or 50% off or whatever. ASK!

POSTER SPECS: Be sure to ask if they can give you this:

#1 → Foam Board Mount (Foam core mounting is the process of permanently adhering a print, poster, or artwork to a lightweight foam board.)

#2 → Matte Finish (Not Glossy)

#3 → 24” x 36” (Poster Size)

#4 → Ask the poster maker how they want you to deliver the files. Perhaps, on a thumb drive or do they want you to go to their website and upload the files?

#5 → The files should be hi-resolution (300dpi) PDF or JPG format (with .125” bleeds all around) so the printer can transfer those files to their computer for printing.

EASELS: Order them off Amazon.com like I did. Nice variety and pricing. Buy extras (and maybe in bulk) in case some break with time. Good to have extras on hand.
