    RECIPE INTRODUCTION

Here’s one more super delish beverage for ya! This is what I call my “WORLD FAMOUS” VERY BERRY FROZEN BART-A-RITA! Just take frozen berries and blend them with (my favorite) Jose Cuervo® “Classic Margarita” mix. No ice needed. Margarita salt on the rim is optional, but tastes pretty good. Besides, just look at that photo above. Don’t they look goooood?

Real quick, I first discovered a similar drink at a chain restaurant that served a blended (raspberry) margarita, which I enjoyed for years until I stopped going to that restaurant. Well, just recently, I thought, “Why not make it at home?” So, I did and guess what? It’s ten times better than that blended (raspberry) margarita from that restaurant. Why? Because I use real frozen berries and they only use a flavored (raspberry) syrup.

No matter, YOU be judge and jury and try this amazing very berry frozen margarita, err, BART-A-RITA! Here’s how you make it:

    EQUIPMENT NEEDED

    BLENDER

I use my personal Ninja Professional blender, but you can use whatever type blender you have on hand. Hey, go for it!

    MARGARITA GLASSES

While any glass will do, I like to pour my very berry frozen Bart-A-Ritas into elegant margarita glasses. Shop around. You might find them sold at your local dollar store or stores like Cost Plus (World Market), or on Amazon, etc.

    ❑ PARTY CUPS

If you do happen to be making this drink at a party, party cups are also a favorite way of serving to those who wish to try it.

    INGREDIENTS

Gauge all suggested ingredients based on the size of your blender and adjust accordingly.

OPTIONAL: 1/2 cup of ice (gauge based on blender size). While your frozen berries will help your frozen margarita be chill and cold, a few ice cubes just adds a nice touch to making it really cold and frothy!

2-3 cups of frozen berries (I prefer a straight medley of only raspberries, blueberries and boysenberries; if strawberries are included that's okay; I stay away medleys that include pomegranate and cranberries due to their seeds; frozen cherries and grapes aren't bad either)

3-4 cups of  Jose Cuervo® “Classic Margarita” mixwhich includes Jose Cuervo® tequila. No need to add tequila/liquor. OPTIONAL: Use the non-alcoholic version, Jose Cuervo "Classic Lime" Margarita Mix, to serve virgin (without alcohol) for those who don't want alcohol included, but still want to taste this amazing party beverage.

OPTIONAL: Margarita salt on the rim. Coat the rim with any sweet fruit you have on hand, such as fresh raspberries, sliced boysenberry, slice of pineapple, apple slice, orange slice, etc. Again, totally optional. I don't put salt on my rims for my very berry frozen Bart-A-Ritas.
