Where Is Your SELF-HELP, PERSONAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT Book?

by Bart Smith

This one is interesting because many of my friends and clients wrote either a business self-help book geared towards helping people in some business-related aspect or they wrote a personal development / personal growth, self-help book.

The reason I bring this up is because for those friends and clients of mine who wrote ONLY business-related books, I said to them, “Where is your personal growth and development book?”

Most of them looked at me with some strange expression on their face. Why they looked puzzled at such a simple question I don’t know. Well, here’s why I brought up the question:

  • They wrote one book, why stop? Write another one!

  • They have one book bringing in some kind of extra income (hopefully); get hungry and write a second book to bring in more income.

  • Two books can be sold in a bundle faster than one, sometimes. Since they’re both your books, you keep all the profits. If each book cost only $3.00 to print and sold as a bundle for $30 and then an audio version of each book is included, the profit becomes $24 per sale. Make 4 sales and walk away with $96 in your pocket! Sell 20 bundles that day at a trade show or seminar and make $480. NICE!

  • They know a lot about business-related matters. I’ll bet they know of something to write about that might help people in their personal lives. That’s what I know and why I write for both business and personal growth and development.

  • So you see, these are some of the motivating factors that go into writing a personal growth and development or self-help book. Here are a few more self-help books I wrote that fall into the category of self-help, personal growth and development:
