INTERVIEW INTRO
So many people either know a little (or nothing at all) when it comes to YouTube and that usually makes them afraid to take the leap forward into the world of YouTube. Whether you're already on YouTube or you want to be, Bart Smith's YouTube book will surely help you! Bart's YouTube book is great for anyone who wants to create a YouTube channel or take their current channel to new heights of YouTube success!
Bart’s YouTube book is also designed like a full-color magazine! You're going to love learning with color. Most books on YouTube today are written in boring black and white text with NO IMAGES whatsoever. With YouTube, there's a lot to learn and it's best learned in color, and with large font print and in a book that serves more like a manual than some boring book filled with only text.
Bart's YouTube book will easily and quickly guide you step-by-step through the whole process of creating your YouTube channel, coming up with video ideas, uploading your videos, other ways to use YouTube, video marketing and promotion, video analytics and statistics, making money with YouTube, legalities, dealing with potential issues, and finding help to save you time and scale your YouTube channel, as Bart says, to new heights of YouTube Success.
BART'S BIO + INTRO
Bart Smith is the author of 30 books, which include a full-color cookbook, nine (9) relationship books, a book for prisoners on their way out of jail, a book on lethal confidence, and how to motivate yourself to succeed. He's even got a full-color, 460 page book about his world famous chocolate chip cookies, and he has his own huge YouTube channel with over 1,000 videos and a growing subscriber base. Bart also consults and coaches people about their YouTube channels as well. C'mon, let's talk to Bart about how you create and grow your YouTube channel right now. Bart, welcome to the show.
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Suggested interview questions:
Q1 : This book is beautiful, full-color, the graphics inside really help teach you all you need about YouTube. Don't tell me you designed this whole book by yourself? How long did it take you to put this book together and how did you put it together? You have an interesting story about going down to a Barnes & Noble bookstore to gather ideas for this book, tell us about that and also why is it valuable to have a book in hand when learning about YouTube and not just watch a bunch of videos on what you need to learn?
Q2 : Let's quickly go over the table of contents, because it's so very precise and exactly what people need to learn when it comes to YouTube. You really leave nothing out. (Read the table of contents and we'll discuss. We can talk about anything you'd like to, such as, channel mindset going in, creating a channel, creating videos, video equipment, uploading videos, marketing your videos, etc. This gets the ball rolling with talking about YouTube in general.)
Q3 : What do you think is the reason why most people don't get on YouTube or start YouTube channels or have low performing channels? What's stopping them?
Q4 : Tell me about your YouTube channel. When did you get started? How did you go about planning your channel? Why did you plan it the way you did with Google documents and Google sheets? How is it coming along?
Q5 : Let's talk about making money with YouTube. You give so many ways to make money with your YouTube channel, what are some of them, besides getting monetized, which seems to be the only way people think about when it comes to making money on YouTube?
Q6 : You talk a lot about marketing and promoting your YouTube channel and not relying on YouTube's algorithm. What are some creative ways to promote your channel and your videos so that you can increase video views and grow your subscriber base at the same time?
Q7 : What I liked a lot about your YouTube book is/was ________. (Let's talk about something you found interesting in the book, about the book, etc.)
Q8 : Are there other books on YouTube on the market (i.e., sold on Amazon.com) and how is yours different from all the others?
