A Drink Recipe From Bart's Cookbook 🕮 Who's Hungry? © 2024 by Bart Smith
RECIPE INTRODUCTION
Here’s another favorite party beverage I like to make every now and then, which I call my “world famous” raspberry lava flow Piña Bart-Ladas with blended red grapes and pineapple. Whoa, wait ‘til you try this one.
FIRST, who doesn’t like a frosty cold beverage on a hot summer day or night or how about any time? That said, this is a great drink to make when you want something very cold, frosty and delish! If you like piña coladas, then you’ll love this beverage and more. Especially, how I make it.
SECOND, because of the ingredients required, per se, I wouldn’t make this at parties as it could be quite expensive to make this drink en masse. So, I’ll just be going over the ingredients and supplies needed to make 1-3 pitchers that can easily serve 3-5 people a few drinks each. Sound good?
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
❑ BLENDER
I use my personal Ninja Professional blender, but you can use whatever type blender you have on hand. Hey, go for it!
❑ SMALL GLASSES
These drinks are rich in flavor and thick with satisfaction. Try a small glass of the stuff at first. Want another glass? Pour yourself another glass. Want more? Make another pitcher. At least, that's been my experience.
❑ PARTY CUPS
If you do happen to be making this drink at a party, party cups are also a favorite way of serving to those who wish to try it.
INGREDIENTS
Gauge all suggested ingredients based on the size of your blender and adjust accordingly.
❑ 2-3 cups of ice (gauge based on blender size)
❑ 1 cup of pineapple (never include the center)
❑ 12 red grapes (seedless)
❑ 3-4 cups of piña colada mix
❑ 1/4 cup of raspberry fruit puree drink mix
❑ 3/4 cup rum (any white/silver rum will do) or use water to make virgin (no-alcohol) drinks! You also don't need that much rum either per pitcher. So, feel free to buy a smaller bottle to save some money.
