A Recipe From Bart's Cookbook 🕮 Who's Hungry? © 2024 by Bart Smith
RECIPE INTRODUCTION
I remember living in San Juan Capistrano, CA and going to a deli every day (practically) for lunch and ordering (the same) sandwich made especially for me. Well, after a while, I took my sandwich destiny into my own hands and started making this delight myself between two slices of bread. Was I happy ever-after!
Another time, I was staying at a friend’s house in Atlanta, GA when he and his wife left for an evening meeting. Well, they left me with their four young daughters and the babysitter. As soon as I heard the babysitter offer cereal for dinner, I jumped in and offered to make my world famous sandwiches. My friends came home and asked what the kids had for dinner. All the girls jumped up and down to say, “Mommy, Bart made his world famous sandwiches. They were delicious. Please learn how to make them like he does!”
Well, now it's YOUR TURN! Here, let me show you how to make the most amazing sandwich you've probably ever tasted and ever will! Check this out ...
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
❑ TOASTER OVEN
I like to use a toaster oven to warm up my sandwich and to slightly melt the cheese slice I placed inside it.
This step is optional, of course. If you don’t have a toaster oven, I highly suggest you get one. They have many uses. You could use a skillet to warm up your sandwich, too, like making a grilled cheese sandwich to some degree. You could also use the oven. Simply wrap up your sandwich in tin foil and bake your sandwich in essence.
Do note, I do NOT recommend you warm up your sandwich in a nuclear radioactive waste box (i.e., Microwave). That is an absolute NO-GO!
INGREDIENTS
(Here's what I put in my sandwich!)

❑ Mayonnaise (Both slices of bread.)
❑ Spinach (Small handful, both slices.)

DIRECTIONS
#1 — Place 2 slices of bread on a plate. Apply mayonnaise to each slice.
#2 — Add 5-6 pieces of spinach to both slices after you apply the mayo.
#3 — Add 1 slice of turkey (or other meat) on one piece of bread and 1 slice of ham on the other slice of bread; both slices are on top of the spinach.
#4 — Add your slice of cheese on top of one slice of bread on top of the meat. Doesn't matter which side.
#5 — Add alfalfa sprouts on the other side of your sandwich.
#6 — Close up your sandwich carefully and place it on the toaster oven rack and bake for 10 minutes at 250° inside the toaster oven.
#7 — When the timer goes off, remove and ENJOY!!!
